Energy-modeling.org is run by Dr. Joe DeCarolis and his research group at North Carolina State University. This website serves as a repository for input data used by energy system models to produce published analyses. We believe that a third party should be able to repeat a published, model-based analysis.
A paper titled “How Much Do Electric Drive Vehicles Matter to Future U.S. Emissions?” by S Babaee, AS Nagpure, and JF DeCarolis was recently published in Environmental Science & Technology (1/3/2014). The National U.S. TIMES Dataset was developed for this analysis. All of the MS Excel Workbooks can be accessed here.
